Cambridge English written papers, with mark scheme anchoring.
English Language presents different marking challenges from Biology. The mark scheme is largely levels-of-response-based, assessing quality of content, communication and technical accuracy rather than discrete credit points.
Remedia's approach applies the same paradigm-specific logic to English as it does to Biology point-based marking: the pre-marking is anchored to the band descriptors in the official mark scheme, not to generic AI feedback about writing quality.
